Payment Policy

Two payment methods, PayPal or a card through Stripe, are the whole menu at checkout on vobirax.com, and the card is charged the moment the order is placed.

PayPal or a card through Stripe

Which methods does checkout take?

Route at checkout What it takes Processor
Card Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover; debit or credit Stripe
PayPal The PayPal balance, or a card or bank account linked to the PayPal account PayPal

The two routes sit side by side on the checkout page, and the customer picks one before the order is placed.

A California address or a tax line of zero

When is sales tax charged?

The shipping address decides the sales tax, which checkout works out as soon as the address is typed and prints as a separate line before confirmation. Orders delivered to a California address are charged California sales tax at 7.25% on the merchandise total; the $6.90 shipping charge is not taxed. Orders delivered to any other state carry no sales tax at this time. IMPOWER ATLANTA LLC collects the tax and passes it to the state; it sets neither the rate nor keeps any part of it. Example: $84.98 of sweaters delivered to Fresno shows $6.16 of tax; the same box delivered to Texas shows $0.00.

One code or none

How do discount codes work?

  1. One code per order, entered in the cart or at checkout before the order is placed.
  2. Codes do not stack, and a code cannot be applied after the order exists or refunded as a difference.
  3. Each code’s terms, including the garments it covers, any minimum, and its expiry date, are printed wherever the code is published. The company issues no open-ended codes, so a code with no expiry date did not come from IMPOWER ATLANTA LLC.

The $99.00 threshold for no shipping charge is compared with the merchandise total after the code, as the Shipping Policy explains.

Four lines or three on the checkout screen

What makes up the final price?

Line When it appears
Merchandise Always
Discount Only when a code is applied
Shipping $6.90 below $99.00; no shipping charge from $99.00
Sales tax Only for a California address

Example: two sweaters at $84.98 delivered to Fresno show four lines, merchandise $84.98, shipping $6.90, tax $6.16, final price $98.04; add a $29.99 shirt and the Texas version shows merchandise $114.97, shipping no charge, final price $114.97.

The final price or a surcharge

Is anything added beyond merchandise, shipping, and tax?

No. There is no card fee, no PayPal fee, no handling fee, no packaging fee, no insurance ticked in advance, and no express option pre-selected. The final price on the confirmation screen is the amount charged, to the cent.

US dollars or nothing else

Which currency and which price apply?

US dollars are the only currency on the site. The price shown at the moment the order is placed is the price paid, whichever way it moves afterward. Banks outside the United States sometimes add a currency conversion fee of their own to a card payment; that fee belongs to the bank, not the company, and never appears on the order.

The icons on the checkout page or icons elsewhere

Which payment icons are real?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal appear as icons at the foot of every page because those five, and no others, are live at checkout; a Stripe mark beside them names the card processor, not a sixth way to pay. If a method is ever added or removed, the checkout page changes first and the icons follow the same day.

A check in the mail or a method off the menu

Which methods are refused?

Checks, money orders, bank and wire transfers, cryptocurrency, gift cards from other retailers, cash on delivery, and payment by invoice. The checkout has no field for any of them, and an order cannot be held open while one arrives.

A charge at checkout or a charge at dispatch

At which moment is the card charged?

Checkout charges the card for the whole order at the moment of ordering, and dispatch comes after the charge, never before. The card or PayPal account is charged once, for the final price on the confirmation screen. If a size sells out between checkout and picking, only that line is refunded and the rest of the order ships, as the Shipping Policy sets out.

A confirmation in minutes or an empty inbox

What should arrive after payment?

An order confirmation listing the garments, the final price, and the delivery address, within a few minutes. If nothing has arrived after one hour, check the spam folder, then email customer service. No confirmation usually means no completed payment, which is worth knowing on the first day rather than after a week of waiting for a box nobody sent.

A hold or a second charge

Why do two amounts show on a statement?

Some card issuers place a temporary authorization hold the instant a payment is attempted. It is not a second charge; it clears by itself within 3-5 weekdays. A hold left behind by a failed payment is released by the customer’s bank, not by the company; a hold still visible after a week is cleared fastest by a call to the bank. Example: a payment attempted on Tue Nov 3, 2026 leaves a hold that disappears between Nov 6 and Nov 10.

A declined card or a cancelled order

What happens when a payment fails?

A payment the issuer declines creates no order and nothing to refund; the cart simply waits for a second attempt. Most declines trace back to a billing address typed differently from the one on the issuer’s records. An order the company cancels, whether for an address outside the service area, a sold-out size, a pricing error, or a cancellation requested within 24 hours, goes back in full to the method that paid for it within 7 days.

One extra question or a cancelled order

Why might an order be reviewed?

Stripe and PayPal occasionally flag an order for a closer look before it ships. Customer service may email to confirm one detail, which can add about a weekday. If a payment cannot be verified at all, the order is cancelled and refunded, and a genuine customer caught by the check can email to have it sorted out.

A card number on Stripe’s servers or on the company’s

Where do card details travel?

Card numbers entered on this site go straight to Stripe or PayPal and never pass through or rest on a server IMPOWER ATLANTA LLC controls; nobody at the company can see a full card number. Both processors hold PCI DSS Level 1 certification, and the entire site, checkout included, runs over TLS encryption. No payment method is entirely without risk, and the company does not claim otherwise; what it can state is the path the card data takes and who handles it along the way.

A billing address abroad or a shipping address in the United States

Must the billing address be in the United States?

No. The billing address can be in any country, as long as it matches the one the card issuer or PayPal holds. Only the shipping address is confined to the 48 contiguous states, plus Washington, DC. Example: a card registered in Toronto paying for a box going to Fairfax, Virginia is accepted.

$57.99 or $5.79

What happens to an obvious pricing error?

A garment listed at a tenth of its real price, such as a $57.99 cardigan shown at $5.79, is an error. The order is cancelled, refunded in full, and explained by email. The company does not send the shirt first and bill the difference later.

A message to customer service or a chargeback

What should happen before a dispute?

Email customer service first. A late box, a damaged shirt, or an unfamiliar line on a statement is usually resolved within a weekday, while a formal dispute takes weeks. If a chargeback is filed anyway, the company answers it with the order record, the carrier’s tracking data, and proof of delivery, and a chargeback raised on a delivered order with no prior contact may lead the company to decline future orders from that account.

The merchant name on a statement or the name on the box

How does the charge appear on a statement?

Under the merchant name the payment processor uses for this store, with an amount that matches the order confirmation to the cent. If a line on a statement does not look familiar, email the date and the amount before disputing it and customer service matches it to an order, or says plainly that it is not the company’s.
